It seems like yesterday when in March 2020 President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that we would be going under lockdown for 21 days! Many of us had a meltdown and went into a frenzy at the thought of being locked up and couped up in our homes for what seemed like an eternity! We did not know exactly what it all meant. All we knew is that we did not like it. Now fast forward more than 300 days later, we are still on lockdown! Who knew that we had it in us?!
We always underestimate the resilience of the human spirit, especially when we are pushed to the limit and tested to our very core. We have been through some very tough times. Now that the #vaccine has hit our shores, there is a feeling of entering a new phase in our journey with the #pandemic. We now strap on our boots tight to prepare for the road ahead as we continue to incorporate living with the novel virus in our homes and our places of work. As the journey continues, we find comfort in the thoughts that we are not alone. We are all in this together …
