Performance Management

Performance Management is a process that managers use to monitor, review, and evaluate the overall contribution of employees in the organization. The process is linked to the organizations’ strategy. The achievement of the organizations’ goals must be directly linked to the employees’ individual goals. These goals are tracked, measured, and adjusted regularly as the business changes.

 

The Performance Management process is no longer about annual Performance Appraisals where the employee only finds out once a year on how they are performing. The process has to be alive through constant engagements between employee and line manager.

Diversity Management

It used to be that Diversity was about Employment Equity and Affirmative Action. However, that is an antiquated view. Today, Managing Diversity is critical to an organization’s success. A Diversity Management Strategy must be incorporated in the organization’s overall strategy to ensure its success and sustainability. It includes ensuring that all individuals who are members of an organizations are included in the Talent Management plan. They must be given an opportunity to contribute their different and unique skills for the benefit of the organization.
