Women of the World - Be Empowered!

On this International Women’s Day (IWD), I would like to take a moment and recognize all the phenomenal women across the globe for the amazing things they do daily including taking care of their families while trailblazing and making strides in the workplace and in their businesses achieving their career goals!

Special recognition and tribute go to all the inspiring women globally who have touched my life some of whom are my family, friends, and women from my alma maters #MayfairConvent, #InandaSeminary, #HoodCollege and #UniversityofPhoenix who are now changing the world in all spheres of life! I see you, and the world sees you. I am so proud of what you have become and of the difference that you continue to make in the world. Please continue to, conduct yourselves in, “Mercy, Charity and Truth” as we were taught at Mayfair, to “Shine Where You Are,” as we were taught at Inanda, to lead with your, “Heart and Mind and Hand” as we were taught at Hood and to, “Rise” like the Phoenix, “We Rise.”

Our beautiful world is troubled and faces opposition from all angles, it is up to us as women of the world to stand up together tall, strong and proud and carry the baton forward while standing on the shoulders of all the women who came before us, our mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers and all the generations before us. The world requires us to stand together, lean on each other and create an even better world for our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all the generations to come. Let us take charge, be empowered and empower each other while we take a stand in our small corners and make a difference to leave this world better than we found it!
